Tone Vigland Jewellery

Tone Vigland (1938-) was born in Oslo, Norway where she later studied silversmithing working alongside skilled jewellers Erling Christoffersen (1932-) and Anna Greta Eka (1928-) at the Plus Applied Arts Centre in Fredrikstad in the 1960s. Since the 1980s Tone Vigland has been creating unique avant-garde art jewellery that has gained her a worldwide reputation with examples held in many museums (Victoria & Albert Museum, London and MOMA, New York) and private collections.
