Archibald Knox

Archibald Knox (1864-1933) was born in the Isle of Man of Scottish parenthood. Knox was a multi-talented and extremely successful artist with his designs in silver, the 'Cymric' range and pewter, the 'Tudric' range commissioned by Arthur Lasenby Liberty for the London Regent Street store Liberty & Co. in 1900. These designs, including silver, enamel and gold jewellery have become synonymous with the British Art Nouveau Movement and have established Archibald Knox as a leading designer of the 20th century.
