Professor Severino Tremator

Severino Tremator (1895-1940) studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Naples, Italy and after World War II followed a successful career in painting portraits and landscapes. In the 1920s Tremator's fresh use of colour and line led him into commercial work and this Art Deco period saw him produce iconic images for travel posters and brochures for the Italian printers Barabino and Graeve.
